EVANGELICAL THEOLOGY, TEACHING AND DIAKONIA

In addition to Evangelical theology, you can study the teaching of religious education in combination with other subjects (Slovak, English, German or Hungarian language and literature, history, philosophy, geography or physical education), but also Evangelical theology with a focus on social assistance and its management. THEOLOGY FOR ALL

At our Faculty we welcome students of all faiths, as well as those who are non-religious, but have an interest in theology. Graduates of Evangelical theology can work in various Protestant churches, but also in international humanitarian and non-profit organizations.

INTERNATIONALLY IN SLOVAKIA

The activities of our Faculty extend beyond the borders of Slovakia – as is confirmed by active long-lasting contacts with European theological institutions and the Slovak Zion Synod (ELCA) in the U.S., where our students regularly serve on internships. The faculty’s renown in Central Europe attracts students from Serbia, Slovenia, Romania, and the Czech Republic.

THEOLOGY FOR A “DIVINE” FUTURE

In addition to providing spiritual counselling our Book Stage project helps disseminate the fruits of scientific endeavour. Our student association bears the name of J.M. Hurban. In addition to guest lectures, you will also enjoy various faculty-wide events, such as: Lutherfest, Faculty May Day, Chess Tournaments, etc. Join the ICHTHYS choir or get involved in the worship life of church choirs in Bratislava.
